Position

Maxwell is looking for talented Frontend Developer to join their Amsterdam-based conversational messaging startup.

Responsibilities:

Decide on architecture and roadmap
Design and develop our tools and applications that support our customers and marketers in their work
Build reusable code and libraries
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Cooperate with other team members and stakeholders
Work in a fun, respectful, unpressured and supportive environment

Your qualification

5+ years frontend development experience
Proactive, pragmatic and independent work ethic
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
Experience with building Single Page Applications, preferably in React
Profound understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Experience with Python development and scalable applications

Will be a plus

Unit Testing, TDD, Automated Testing or End to End testing
Webpack
Working in a SCRUM team
