Position

As an API developer you will be expected to have experience building scalable and resilient API’s, have experience with containers, experience of test automation and most importantly a positive attitude and solution oriented.

Your qualification

• API Developer in a scripting language Python, Scala, Ruby, Kotlin
• Proven experience building an scalable, reliable and resilient API
• Clear understanding of the Git Workflow and branching strategies
• Worked with containers and docker
• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Functional Programming paradigm
• Professional knowledge in non-SQL databases like MongoDB, CouchDb, Cassandra
• Professional knowledge in compression formats: Json. Webpack, ProtocolBuf, Avro, Parquet
• Professional knowledge in Memory key store like Redis, Memcache
• Professional knowledge in Linux operative systems: CentOS, Ubuntu, CoreOS
• Professional knowledge in Cloud Elastic Computing providers like AWS, Google cloud, BlueMix
• Understanding of the REST paradigm Understanding of the Don’t Repeat Yourself (DRY) paradigm
• Understanding of Unit Testing, Automated Testing is a MUST
• Have a solid understanding of WebSockets
• Worked with TDD/BDD approaches to deliver high quality software
• Worked with CD/CI toolsets and continuous delivery pipelines
• Team spirit
• Communicates effectively and is able to establish a constructive discussion

Will be a plus

• 3 spoken languages
• 3 programming languages (best fit for task)
• Flexibility to travel to US, and Mexico
• Monitoring Solutions and Infrastructure as Code
