Your role:

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design, optimize and manage our European network infrastructure.

You ensure that our network is robust, secure and always ready to meet the challenges of the rapidly changing digital world.

What will you do?

Design and build a state-of-the-art network infrastructure that forms the backbone of our digital operations.

Identify and solve complex network problems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Stay ahead of the game by evaluating and implementing new network technologies and protocols, continuously improving our infrastructure.

Protect our network against the latest threats by implementing advanced security measures, including firewalls, VPNs and other security tools.

Work closely with the SecDevOps team and contribute to the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and optimize our processes.

Your qualification

• A doer mentality with HBO work and thinking level that enables you to tackle complex network challenges.
• At least 5 years of experience as a network engineer and/or architect; you are an expert in your field.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, network protocols and technologies such as routing, switching, VPN and firewalls.
• CCNA certification is a requirement, CCNP a valuable extra. Solid knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and streaming protocols such as Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM).
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper and Brocade equipment.
• Familiarity with Linux systems and OpenStack is a big plus
• Excellent communication skills in English
