Description
Tasks:
- Develop/deploy/maintain automotive backend microservices based on Java or Kotlin and powered by AWS
- Working in the context of automotive, you will use DevOps principles to create, test and deploy backend solutions as well as internal tools using modern cloud infrastructure like AWS
- Actively contribute to tech and architecture decisions
- Contribute with your team and other teams on all questions around backend and tool development in an automotive IoT environment
Your qualification
- 6+ years of professional experience developing Java solutions
- Willingness to move to Portugal
- Agile mindset
- Fluent English
- 2+ years working with AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, Cloud Formation or Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable job expertise
- Solid experience with backend development with a focus on RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and integration
- Solid experience with server-side Java frameworks
- Experience working with Spring (mainly Spring Boot, but Spring Security, Data JPA, etc are also valuable)
- Experience working with a microservices architecture
- You are willing to work in a multicultural, interdisciplinary balanced product team
Will be a plus
- Experience with CI & CD
- Experience with Kotlin
- Knowledge of Python for rapid prototyping and tooling as well as UNIX system configuration and tools
