Position

Tasks:

As a Fullstack Web Engineer, you'll work directly with our CTO, David, to develop robust systems and user interfaces driving our business forward.

• Collaborate closely with our team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using both frontend and backend technologies
• Implement software design patterns, architectural patterns, and modern web design principles to ensure robust and maintainable code
• Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems
• Continuously optimize and improve our frontend and backend architectures to enhance user experience and performance

Our Current Tech Stack:

• Backend: Kotlin (Spring Boot framework) & Python (NLP/AI)
• Frontend: Typescript (React with Nextjs framework)
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Pinecone Vector DB
• Cloud: AWS (Fargate, ECS), Terraform
• CI: Github Actions

Your qualification

• At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in web development, with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies
• Your focus should be in frontend with strong proficiency in React and Typescript, as well as some experience in backend technologies such as Java or Kotlin
• Solid understanding of UI/UX, software design patterns, architectural patterns, and modern web design principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory

Will be a plus

• Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment and/or Startup environment
