History
Manychat was founded in 2016 and currently has 120+ team members in three global offices — R&D team is located in Yerevan and Barcelona, and marketing is based in New York.
Manychat is a Meta Official Business Partner, backed by top investors, including Bessemer Venture Partners.

Tech stack
Our web application is built with TypeScript / JavaScript, React, and Redux. We use Jest for unit tests, and Playwright for UI tests.
Our backend tech stack is the following: PHP 8.1, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, NGINX + Lua, AWS. We use AWS to deploy the infrastructure and arrange asynchronous queues. It processes billions of internal events.

Approaches
We prioritize both technology and user experience to deliver value to customers, striving to provide simple and reliable solutions. We constantly experiment and test hypotheses on a prototype (minimum viable product, or MVP).

Processes
We work in cross-functional teams within two-week sprints. We use the LeSS framework (Large Scale Scrum) to be agile, flexible, and adaptive.
