Seeking an innovator who can think outside of the box to implement / develop new processes for early development vehicle systems engineering.

What you'll be able to do:

  • Resolve complex cross sub-system (Powertrain, Chassis, Body Electronics, Electrical & Power Supply) electrical compatibility issues
  • Lead the development of compatible electrical systems by solving electrical system/component compatibility issues in the Pre PS electrical system vehicle development

Your qualification

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 1+ years experience Create Core System engineering processes, tools and methods.
  • 1+ years experience Develop a Core System process to acquire early component design data.
  • 1+ years experience Develop a process for Electrical and Electronic Schematics. Mark up block diagram feature drawing for the Core system schematics team.
  • 1+ years experience understand electrical requirements / design rules and ensure program compliance to core requirements.
  • 1+ years experience Bench-mark EE architectures.
  • 1+ years experience work with down-stream System application teams to ensure successful transfer of EESE systems designs.
  • 1+ years experience work with component engineers on fuse sizes / locations for optimal system design.
  • 1+ years experience work with R&A to successful transfer new concepts to the EE Systems teams.
  • 1+ years experience interface with various cross-functional organizations in jointly identifying the Electrical system interface (Powertrain controls, Chassis, EESE Power Supply, Core EESE, and Body Electrical).

Will be a plus

  • 1+ years of systems engineering preferred.
  • Proven ability to participate effectively and lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Ability to work in non-structured environment where creativity and a start-up mentality is encouraged
  • Ability to think strategically and connect information to determine next steps
