Position

Property Finder is looking for an outstanding Head of Product Design to lead Design team. The role is accountable, above all, for leading our Product Development organization in the creation of the products and services which will delight our customers and consumers. You will work closely with Product Management and Engineering team to deliver our ambitious growth plans. At the same time, you will also help lift our capabilities to the next level as we expand. You are a skilful design manager, who can get results, lead change and nurture a truly progressive culture within Design. You will relish the opportunity to work in a two-sided marketplace, with a multinational remit and bold goals - and all the challenges that brings.

Responsibilities

• User-Centered Advocate - Advocate for strong user-centered design practices across the organization, ensuring that we always put the user and customer at the center of our work
• Build Design Processes - Building processes and rituals that enable Designers to work effectively with Product Management and Engineering counterparts to maximize impact
• Improve Team Performance by leading the Designers on the team to be the best
• Design Ownership
• Driving a Growth Mindset - Encourage experimentation, retrospectives, and team learning
• Team Allocation - Determine hiring needs, and how best to leverage the talent we have at hand
• Coaching - Helping the Designers grow in a well-rounded manner

Your qualification

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design
• 2+ years of proven leadership experience in building and scaling a design team
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• In-depth knowledge of professional design best practices
