Position

We're currently seeking PHP developers for Web3TV, part of Coinvesting Holdings (a Group with 100+ people and 15 entities).

“Web3 TV is a content network dedicated to the full spectrum of web 3.0 news, original entertainment, interviews, live streaming, events, and cultural happenings.”

Resembling platforms such as YouTube, we are building the only global content network and platform focused on web3 news, events, original entertainment, live streaming, and social and cultural happenings.

2x Senior and 1x Lead positions are open. The roles are Dubai-based, beginning remotely.

Services to be performed include:

Analysis & Planning

• Lead all project management initiatives (if the Lead role).
• Collaborate with internal resources / people and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Analyze user needs and design, code, test, debug, and document software accordingly.

Development

• Develop web applications, websites, and backend systems.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.

Database Management

• Design and maintain databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Optimize database queries for efficiency.

Coding & Debugging

• Debug and optimize existing code.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.

Front-End Integration

• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic

Security

• Implement security best practices to protect web applications from vulnerabilities.
• Ensure data protection and privacy in all applications.

Testing

• Conduct thorough unit testing and integration testing.
• Identify and fix issues uncovered during testing.

Documentation

• Create and maintain technical documentation for code and processes.
• Provide documentation to assist with future maintenance and upgrades.

Collaboration

• Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Version Control

• Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase changes.

Communication

• Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
• Provide regular updates on project progress.

Continuous Learning

• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in PHP development.
• Continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Compliance

• Ensure that development activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Troubleshooting and Support

• Provide technical support to resolve issues post-deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems as they arise.

Performance Optimisation

• Optimize application performance and scalability.
