Position
We are currently searching for a Python/Django Web Developer experienced, passionate about vision and idea of our product. Working with our fast growing team will be challenging, but will definitely deliver countless opportunities of your technical skills development.
This person will join our one of our product or back-end teams and will help to create exceptional learning experience for our students and tutors. This role will require tight cooperation with all team members to make sure we all go in the same winning direction.
Our Django developers work on all parts of our system from the improving of UX, to making our API more robust, by integrating with 3rd party apps, working on performance optimization, integrating state-of-the-art technologies loke GraphQL/AWS Lambda and much more. We have diverse technical challenges that will allow you to develop your skills across the stack.
Your expected outcomes:
- Being an active and enthusiastic part of the team that will be looking to contribute to our mission and strategy, happy to share the craziest ideas
- Constantly adding value to experience of our customers by writing readable, testable and efficient code
- Being able to develop back-end and database driven features using Python language and Django frameworks
- Taking the time to deeply understand the problems and challenges users face and being the part of the solution finding process
Your qualification
- Experience developing and deploying websites and applications
- Experience in Python and Django
- Experience in wiring back-end with front-end independently
- Comfortable collaborating with designers, front-end developers and other team members
- Web services/API experiences
- Strong communication skills
- High level of self-organization
- Minimum B2 English level (company gives 200$/month for study English on preply.com)
Will be a plus
Any of GIT, RabbitMQ, Celery, Nginx, Google API, DevOps, AWS experience
