Position

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our well-established IT department. You will help our company achieve targeted business outcomes related to revenue growth, costs optimization, and risks mitigation. This is an exciting opportunity for contributing to decision making and helping business stakeholders monetize new technologies.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Cooperate with stakeholders and provide perspective of the organization to formulate the business strategy
• Analyse current business and operating models, market trends, and emerging technology to identify possible application to the organization’s architecture
• Innovate and grow execution by aligning business and IT
• Develop and implement a roadmap for enterprise architecture
• Research technology and other trends and provide consultation on how the business can take advantage of them
• Help guide investment decisions by consulting business leaders
• Act as an internal consultant when it comes to risks and implications of product decisions in a business and IT context
• Detect deficiencies by analysing current company environment and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with business and IT teams, to ensure consistency with the enterprise architecture strategy and identify vital modifications

Your qualification

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis
• 5+ years of experience in at least three of these disciplines: business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment
• Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), service-oriented architecture (SOA), APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics
• Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management
• Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks
• Understanding of different types of agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level
• Able to communicate new concepts, ideas, and business requirements in simple language to technical and non-technical audience
• Strong business and technology acumen skills
• Experience in managing, consulting, and engaging stakeholders
• Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Management consulting experience in the fintech industry is considered a plus
