At Papercup, we want to use the power of our voice translation technology to help content creators expand their audience reach internationally. Using a cutting-edge approach to speech processing, we're auto-translating the audio track on videos by generating a voice that sounds similar to the original speaker - but in different languages!

Position

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll be a core part of our machine learning development team, which focuses on state-of-the-art research in speech synthesis, optimizations and deployment of ground-breaking machine learning models in the field.

Your qualification

• Have 3+ years of industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer
• Have 2+ years of experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Love getting your hands dirty with experiments and implementations
• Enjoy reading papers and are always up to date with the newest ML or speech processing
• Research think critically, separate your ego from the problems at hand and iterate fast
• Are knowledge hungry and want to redefine what's possible

Will be a plus

• Experience with DevOps technologies such as Docker containers and queuing systems and knowledge of cloud frameworks, CI-CD
• Experience with lower-level programming languages such as C++ or CUDA
• Knowledge of speech processing frameworks such as Merlin, Kaldi, etc
