Your team

In our CTO division, we deliver highly scalable and performant software – with passion. We consist internationally of hundreds of Software Engineers, Architects, Product Owners and Cluster Leads and speak fluent agile – amongst many other languages.

The Portfolio Management Team is within our Product Development area and currently looking for a Software Engineer to join the mission. The responsibility for the Portfolio Management functionality forms part of the core Avaloq Banking Suite which is one of the largest PL/SQL applications in the world.

You will be part of a dynamic team who put the customer first in everything that we do.

We have asked other teams how they would describe us and we were not surprised by the answer - we are a fun and close-nit team, that might seem small but is capable of big things.

What you will do

Your role as a software engineer will be to maintain and enhance portfolio management functionality, developing new product features and providing support to over 60 live clients.

Following Agile methodologies, you will work closely with the Product Owner and Business Analysts to design, develop, test and maintain high quality solutions within the team’s area of responsibility.

Your qualification

• Hands-on experience as a Software Developer
• Proven expertise in SQL, PL/SQL
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• A team player, willing to contribute and help other team members
• Eagerness to learn and understand the business needs
