At our Jumbo Tech Campus, all technical professionals are brought together. We are organized based on agile principles and our 350 IT professionals work in multi-disciplinary scrum teams. Position

With the UX of our clients and the commercial goals of our company as your Yin and Yang, you will develop new iOS features for both our internal and e-commerce app. This means you know how to translate business to IT not the other way around. Starting with preliminary system analysis, to testing and deployment, you will be executing full lifecycle software development by programming well-designed, testable and efficient code. You'll work together with your fellow team members and provide them with constructive feedback, to make sure you and your team continuously improve.

In the role of iOS Developer, you contribute to the most enjoyable shopping experience by:

• Developing new features for our iOS apps (Swift 5, RxSwift) 
• Executing full lifecycle software development by programming well-designed, testable and efficient code
• Coaching team members, reviewing each other’s code, learning, and sharing knowledge

Your team

You become part of the Digital department of Jumbo Tech Campus. On a daily basis you work in Scrum teams, together with top-notch Android developers, backend engineers, QA engineers, UX designers and POs. You also meet up regularly with your frontend colleagues. We learn from and challenge each other in an open culture with plenty of room for individual ideas. Your team lead is Dennis Vousten.

Your qualification

Do you have the Jumbo DNA: togetherness, entrepreneurship and winning? And do you also have:

• At least 4 years of experience in iOS development (and we love to see your work in the App Store or on GitHub)
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in Unit Testing (XCTest) and Test Driven Development, and preferably also with UI Testing (XCUITest or Appium)
