Position

Ravecruitment is a Dutch leading highly skilled migrant agency (Payroll – Relocation – Recruitment). Currently we are searching for a Software Engineer (Node js & Angular). Perm job. Relocation & sponsorship included.

Company

The company started in September 2016 as a corporate startup to create a new digital platform. This platform facilitates collaboration in the construction process. We now have paying customers and are growing exponentially. Thanks to the current success, the start up became an official business unit in 2019. Because they are going to expand the platform further, they are looking for a software engineer. The mother company has annual revenues of more than €6.5 billion, employs approximately 20,000 people and is listed on Euronext Amsterdam.

As a software engineer you get the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and methods. You work in an experienced scrum team where the team continuously challenges and supports each other. The team has developed a new digital platform for different types of users within the construction sector and have been operational for a more than 2 years now.

Job

In the role of software engineer you are part of a team of twelve people. We consider it important as a team that we treat each other openly and transparently. That is why we not only pay attention to the platform, but also to the development of each other. We are happy to help each other! You work on the development of a platform that supports the digital building process for multiple types of users. This is complex and challenging. You are in contact with users, you understand their wishes and you determine the solutions and the feasibility.

The company works according to different methods, such as: DevOps, Scrum, Design Thinking and Lean Startup. We expect a software engineer to contribute to the further development of our methods.

Your qualification

A software engineer who comes to strengthen our multinational team and has the knowledge and experience below. In addition to a bachelor working and thinking level, you have at least a year of experience with the following stack:

• Back end programming with Node.js (LoopBack framework knowledge is an advantage) 
• Front end programming with Angular 4 or later (with Typescript)
• Responsive front end design using Bootstrap
• NoSQL database experience
• Implementing unit tests with Jasmine (pre)
• Implementing automatic end-to-end scripts (pre)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as: AWS, Azure or IBM Cloud

In addition to the above skills, we believe it is important that you recognize yourself in the following:

• You have good oral and written English language skills
• You are self-managing and ask for help when needed
• You like helping other colleagues to improve themselves (especially testers and developers)
• You are able to anticipate changing priorities
• An open mindset with an innovative attitude
