Your responsibilities as an iOS Developer

Bol.com is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced iOS developer who dreams in Swift and can’t stop smiling at the thought of native development. In this role, you will join one of our app teams that are collectively responsible for building, running and loving our iOS and Android apps. Plus the API that connects those apps to our vast IT hinterland. We work hard to ensure that all apps run smoothly. Today. Tomorrow. And beyond. In addition to the multidisciplinary Product Team, you will become part of the iOS Chapter. With the colleagues within this chapter, you will determine the long term strategy for the iOS app and you will coordinate with iOS colleagues who are assigned to other Product Teams. We also make sure that our apps deliver highly relevant content, superior ease of use, and innovative features. So upping the wow! factor is our daily business. • You auto-layout (yes, we’re talking about coding, not clicking things together in the Interface Builder) your way to iOS success
• You excel at delivering performant code that oozes elegance and ease of maintenance
• Your knowledge extends beyond your domain, and you can effortlessly bounce ideas off of colleagues from other disciplines
• You love to innovate and experiment with the latest & greatest tooling and tech
• You’re versed in XCTest (unit testing) and UI testing
• Swift package manager and Swift UI have swiftly become the main staples of your approach
• You are skilled in Dependency Injection and Memory Management/multithreading
