Position

Apply if you want to be a part of an international team that is constantly working on integrating our customers via our Microsoft Azure platform, onboarding new customers, and the development of our products and tools to automate and improve, as well as if you want to make users happy with effective business processes and are developing solutions that make users happy.

B2B integrations are your responsibility as a configuration engineer.

You are in charge of setting up and maintaining business-to-business (b2b) integrations between the our ServiceNow application and those of our (large enterprise) clients, service partners, and our Business Market.

We use the Azure platform to integrate all messages and connections and make business processes as efficient as possible.

To bolster our Integrations DevOps team and satisfy our service users, we are looking for a configuration engineer.

As a Configuration Engineer, you collaborate closely with user organizations and the Product Owner to identify needs and wishes, then translate those into integration solutions that work well.

To develop, standardize, and implement these solutions, you also collaborate in an international team with a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

As a configuration engineer, your duties.

• You assist the Product Owner in comprehending user needs and, with your team, "refine" your "stories" so that they can be realized in "sprints."
• You collaborate with the other members of your team to develop and implement these solutions
• If other teams' assistance is required, you arrange for it and then make sure your team has the necessary knowledge and skills
• When something goes wrong, you handle the incident yourself because you work in DevOps, and you can then learn how to get better
• You'll also be working on recurring operational tasks, and you'll use your imagination to further automate and simplify this kind of work

Your qualification

• Bachelor/Master level working and thinking level (IT related)
• Programming knowledge, including C, .NET, XSLT, Liquid, and Powershell scripting
• Knowledge of how to run and maintain applications environments, including design, deployment, delivery, and implementation
• Understanding of SQL databases, WSDL, XML, JSON, WS-*, SOAP, REST, XML, HTTP, and HTTPS protocols
• Strong communication skills; solution-focused; prioritizes and values work
• Having actual experience with Agile and DevOps is advantageous
• Knowledge of ITIL v3 and service management software and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ongoing education because it fosters team development
