Position

In this role, you will develop a software system in the domain of IP telephony. The main focus is on the backend development of new features with Python. You will be a part of a cross-functional agile team of about 10 engineers. The team is responsible for the full application lifecycle from design to development, deployment, and operations.

This is what you will do daily:

• Design and develop new services and APIs for new features
• Analyse and fix defects · Understands some logic from the legacy codebase and refactor it
• Support CI/CD pipelines
• Code review
• Propose and discuss API integrations with front-end engineers and other software engineer

Our technology stack:

• Python 3.12 (latest), Flask, SQLAlchemy
• Pytest
• Kubernetes, Jenkins, Gitlab

We are looking for not just a programmer. Besides coding according to requirements, you proactively discover and raise issues that need attention, find the right people to ask questions, update documentation, and support teammates.

Your qualification

• 3+ years of experience with Python
• Experience with any major Python web framework, and ORM
• You love clean code and unit tests
• Containerisation technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, etc)
• CI/CD automation (Jenkins, Gitlab, etc)
• English proficiency (spoken and written)

Will be a plus

• VoIP technologies
• Type annotations knowledge
• Ruff and code formatters/linters experience
• Metrics and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry)
• Independent and proactive working style
• Experience with queues and async programming
• MySQL DB experience
