Position

As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in our product development process, shaping our product direction with your knowledge, creativity, and conviction. You will contribute your extensive experience to an international and geographically distributed team, interacting daily with Architects, DevOps Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Product Managers. In your role you ensure the success of two products: The Swisscom Definition Catalogs and a Process Orchestration Platform.

What you move?

In our agile setup, you will take responsibility for the prioritisation and refinement of epics and stories, overseeing their lifecycle until successful implementation. With your passion for service management and process optimization, you will play a leading role in our team, driving Swisscom to the next level. As part of the organization AOT you will enhance our integrated and secure self-service platform for all Swisscom internal teams.

Your qualification

• Familiarity with agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, PI Planning, etc.)
• Capability to clarify stakeholder requirements and break them down into actionable acceptance criteria with clear outcomes
• Practical experience in DevOps or Process Engineering, including deploying and reviewing solutions using BPMN tools
• Familiar with code reviews and background in process management to support DevOps engineers
• Able to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and feature requests effectively
• Experienced in prioritising features, using agile metrics, and working with sprints
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), BPMN certification) are a plus
• Set, prioritize, and evaluate the work of the product development team to ensure impeccable features and functionality
• Develop and articulate the product vision and strategy to all relevant stakeholders
• Define product roadmaps and set timelines for their delivery
• Collaboratively articulate product requirements and user stories for the development teams
• Build, manage, and groom the product backlog
• Manage product-related risk assessments and mitigation strategies
• Deliver presentations and updates to leadership and stakeholders, demonstrating the improvements and changes in the product
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are launched in a cohesive, effective manner
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management
• Strong experience in creating product vision and strategy
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

Contract terms

• To begin with you will receive a fixed term contract (one year), after 6 months of your employment with us, after a feedback meeting with the team, there is a possibility of extending the contract to an indefinite term
• The salary ranges mentioned in our Job Descriptions are base annual gross salaries.
