THIS VACANCY IS REMOTE ONLY.

Qualibrate is seeking QA Automation Engineers to join our team. Quality Assurance Engineers are responsible for helping to improve & maintain the quality of our products within a continuous delivery environment.

Responsibilities:

Design test cases and scenarios in an agile environment based on functional and non-functional product requirements
Create and maintain functional and performance test automation scripts
Test Data Management/Automation Support
Execute Tests during the defined test cycles
Status reporting of different phases of the test process (Requirements/Test Preparation/Test Execution)
Perform Security testing
Conduct Performance Testing
Investigate product and environment issues and pinpoint the actual problem
Continuous improvement of test practices

About the Project

The project is about building a solid foundation for our Automated QA framework to ensure our SaaS solution maintains the highest quality standards on our productive stack. Our SaaS solution is comprised by a web application built with modern Front End Technologies and leverages an enterprise-grade cloud architecture built on top of AWS Managed Services. Your job will be focusing in the modelling, design, creation and maintenance of the Core QA/Testing Framework, and supporting critical decisions when deploying product increments to production customers. The project requires you to work with an international team located in Amsterdam-NL, Bucharest-RO, Monterrey-MX, Aguascalientes-MX and Valencia-ES.

Your qualification

Technical Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or proven coding capabilities or interest in technology
5+ years of experience in working with a functional test automation solution/tool (e.g. Selenium, MF UFT, Katalon, Eggplant, UIPath, Ranorex, etc.)
3+ years of experience working with Performance testing tool (e.g. JMeter, LoadRunner, Flood.io, etc.)
Good understanding of DevOps practices
Experienced in working in Agile Teams
Ability to understand business & technical requirements
Ability to interpret test results and explain these to colleagues and stakeholders with compelling reports and dashboards
A good understanding of Software Quality Management, Test Processes and Best Practices

Personal Skills

Likes to work with people and in a team
Positive attitude with strong work ethic, professionalism, integrity and honesty
Self-starter, capable of solving problems proactively
Excellent communication skills (Fluent English required)

Will be a plus

Knowledge of Jmeter and Cypress
Experienced with Rich Web Applications Testing
Knowledge of testing with microservices architecture, API’s testing
ISTQB Certification is nice to have
