Position

As part of Jobbird, you work together with YoungCapital, and help build two products: jobbird.com and employment agency.nl

What are you going to do:

Jobbird is here to shake up the job seeking market. We have a great team, a great product and we have the support of one of the fastest growing (and coolest) companies in the Netherlands.

We are looking for YOU, our new PHP Backend Developer. Why? Because we have big plans for this platform and are ready to full commit to it. We want to turn it into a powerhouse able to compete with some of the biggest players in The Netherlands and abroad.

As part of Jobbird, you work together with Young Capital, the parent company or Jobbird, and help build two products: jobbird.com and employment agency.nl. You will receive support from YoungCapital with questions about strategy, technology and HR.

We are ready. Are you?

Your responsibilities:

• Coming up with new solutions for our vacancy platform and put them into production
• Optimizing our search algorithms and revamping some of the existing features
• Conducting code reviews and helping out other developers

Your qualification

• Minimum hbo level or equivalent ability
• Around 5 years of development experience
• You have a strong knowledge base of PHP
• Experience with ElasticSearch is a plus
• You are a true team player and are able to collaborate with others
• Driver's license and the possibility to work 2 days a week from our office in Nijmegen
