Position

For a big insurance company we are looking for a VMWare specialist, preferably having experience with VMWare Horizon. We will relocate the candidate to Holland and arrange housing, support in Holland and the travel. Remote working from Holland allowed.

You are working in a team of in total 40 people where a smaller team handles the migration to Azure later on. It's a chellenging environment for a long time and big changes coming up.

Job role / tasks:

• Transfer of management of VM Horizon environment and packaging activities
• Managing the VM Horizon environment:
• Perform updates and upgrades
• Security patching
• Implement changes
• Resolving incidents
• Execute packaging
• Updating documentation
• Participate in the Hybrid Cloud team for transfer to Azure

Your qualification

• Workplace management including management of user profiles
• Manage windows images (golden image, updates patches)
• Knowledge and experience with
• VMware Horizon Dynamic Environment Manager
• App volumes (packaging)
• Horizon connection services
• Universal Access Gateway (UAGs)
• VMware vcenter (Horizon specific)
• Network knowledge (Vlans)
