Position

As a DevOps engineer you will be working on the SendCloud system. SendCloud integrates various carriers and online stores in a fast and intuitive tool. We release early and often. The development team is responsible for building the SendCloud system and keeping it running. Our code base has a high test coverage, we apply continuous integration and we love to automate stuff to squeeze out manual steps in our process.

Your qualification

Our perfect match:

• You have a background in development and/or operations
• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• You have experience with Linux, the command line doesn’t scare you
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• You have strong experience with Kubernetes (Helm, Helmsman & Helmfile)
• You have knowledge of Distributed systems, including containerised (micro)services and highly scalable web applications
• Earlier experience with Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud
• You know what it takes to build high quality software on a professional basis
• You are eager to learn and keep improving yourself. You’re up to date about the latest technologies and a passionate Engineer
• Good written and oral communication skills in English 

Nice to have:

• Software development experience in Python and/or Go
• Progressive delivery (Flagger)
• Experience with canary deployments.
• Experience with the PLG (Promtail, Loki and Grafana)) stack.
• Experience with running production workloads on Kubernetes.
