EFFECT Photonics develops and delivers highly integrated optical products based on InP (Indium Phosphide) which is the material of choice for creating efficient laser light sources, waveguides, modulators, and photodiodes used in optical communication systems throughout the world.

Extensive development work and European funding has already been invested to develop and refine the processes needed for the integration of multiple optical functions within a single chip.

Position

The Supply Chain Project Manager will:

• Support the Foundry Supply Chain Manager for daily general deliverables, including operational support, supply plan and forecast, data analysis, and preparation of documentation
• Analyze and develop short- and long-term supply plans to create visibility in the goods flow and keep all internal stakeholders continuously up to date
• Drive supply chain improvements at suppliers. Optimize the flow of product through the supply chain. Participate in internal and external project meetings. Provide input to the cross-functional teams and constructive feedback to suppliers
• Challenge foundry suppliers while maintaining good relationships to improve planning & operations performance where possible and find solutions to the short-term and medium-term shortage of supply

Your qualification

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This position requires a candidate that has a proven track record of being able to work in a dynamic environment. You are also used to work independently and able to set priorities. The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

• Preferred degree BS/BA or Master in supply chain management and engineering (preferably chemical engineering)
• At least 2 to 3 years of working experience as a supply chain project manager. Knowledge about semiconductor engineering and R&D is a big plus 
• Experienced in improvement & operational excellence in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced skills in MS Office and database management
• Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch/ Chinese is a strong advantage
