Position

As a Backend Developer, you'll be part of a team responsible for developing the new product master, a single platform for managing all product data needed by various employees and processes. Your work will involve using the latest (streaming) technologies and utilizing an agile scrum methodology. Your key responsibilities will include creating APIs, implementing business logic, developing and expanding existing Scala applications, making architecture and design decisions, and creating functional documents.

Your qualification

• 2-5 years of recent web development experience
• Proficiency in Scala, Akka, and Akka-Http
• Knowledge of microservices and relational databases
• Experience with containerized applications, continuous delivery and deployment, and testing
• Strong communication skills in English
• Passion for learning new technologies
• Flexibility to work in multiple locations

Nice-to-have skills include 5+ years of development experience in Unix/Linux environments, knowledge of event-driven architectures, data modeling concepts, and monitoring tools. A self-starter who is also a team player, with prior experience working in an agile/scrum environment, would be a plus.
