At Textkernel we develop Jobfeed, a labor market analytics tool that provides HR professionals and researchers with accurate, complete and up-to-date information on the labor market throughout the world. We continuously collect and analyse millions of job postings from hundreds of thousands of websites, turning raw data into essential information and bringing it at our customers' fingertips.

We are looking for an ambitious Python Software Engineer interested in working on large-scale, high-performance processing and storage systems. What you will be doing:

As a Python Software Engineer you will be part of a team responsible for designing and implementing changes to the data processing pipeline, the backend for our new web application and other emerging projects in the Jobfeed ecosystem.

We expect a strong sense of ownership from you, being able to lead epics and bring them to the finish line, while guiding and mentoring other team members.

You will be operating in Scrum sprints, being part of an Agile team of 7-8 people, including backend, frontend and DevOps engineers. You will also work together with other teams and technical leadership to envision, design and implement new solutions.

Your qualification

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 3+ years of Python development experience
• Produce elegant, efficient and robust code
• Own team initiatives and lead epics from the start until the end
• Promote best engineering practices like usage of design patterns
• Contribute to the growth and development of the team and its members
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
