Position

The Senior Java Developer, who enjoys acting as a sparring partner for the fellow scrum colleagues and is not afraid to roll up the sleeves. Who's passion for coding makes this person a true master in Java and as the senior team member keeps the code quality high and consistent. The Senior Java developer will be working on brand new projects such as customer journey and audience discovery, but also constantly improving the battle-tested projects such as tag management or data management. We love clean coding at Relay42.

As a Senior Java Developer, I’m a good communicator and a true expert in Java (8), Spring and Hibernate. Coding is not just part of my job, it’s a hobby to me. I’m very comfortable to work with AngularJS and React as well. As a company that is working a lot with big data, you would like to know I have good knowledge of Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark and ActiveMQ.

I’m an absolute champion in covering my code with unit and integration tests, and I don’t shy from the bizarre world of Selenium and Protractor testing either. I have worked with administration systems like the Atlassian Stack (JIRA, Bamboo, Bitbucket). Beside of all that, I’m just a nice person to hangout with.

You will join the development team that is lead by Darko Zelić.

As a growing organisation, our product and the way we work is constantly in motion. We, as a team, are very open to learn from every team member and adapt the necessary changes very quickly. Together, we decide where our architecture is going and witch technical developments we are integrating in our daily work. We want you to look back after a few years and say that you are proud of the code you have produced together with the team.

The team takes care of each other. When you can’t go to work because you are stuck at home, we will just come to you. Are you gone for a longer period of time? No worries, you may have been out of sight but we will not have forgotten you. On your first day back, it will feel like you have never left the office.
