We provide a simple and clear payment API, which enables webshop and app builders to implement more than ten different payment methods in one go.
In the first few years of existence, Mollie was a developer-only adventure, and about 15 years later devs and techs still comprise roughly 30% of all staff. As a natural consequence, Mollie still is—and aims to remain—highly tech-minded. We take a developers-first approach to our products and internal development strategy, something that both our customers and our developers appreciate.
This focus on the technical side can be found in various things. For example, you pick whatever tools you want to use to get the job done. MacBooks, absurdly large screens, top-notch noise-canceling headphones, and whatever other equipment makes your nerd-boat float. We go to great lengths to create a space that allows you to focus on the things that will make you happy: shipping great features you helped dream up and build.
You will work with some of our most skilled engineers on the scalability and stability of the Mollie platform. You will be a crucial part of our European expansion from the technical perspective as you drive the reliability of our platform, support migrating our existing infrastructure to the Cloud and help introduce the Site Reliability Engineering discipline to the Mollie organization. You will enable our platform to scale while providing rock solid stability for every single customer at Mollie.
What you'll be doing:
As a Product Manager for our Platform Reliability team, you’ll be responsible for preparing our existing infrastructure services for the cloud, improving our existing environments to increase development velocity and creating a center of excellence for reliability and on-call. You’ll work closely with other infrastructure teams like Cloud Enablement and Developer Experience, as well as Product Engineering teams as they adopt SRE practices and make use of the associated tooling that you provide to support their transition.
You will join a highly energized team of product owners and engineers from various backgrounds. Your development team will be a good mix of engineers of various skill levels, with some of the most experienced engineers at Mollie.
Our ideal Product Manager has led technical products or large-scale platforms, has extreme attention to detail and concisely communicates complex concepts. You should be equally excited about maximizing reliability while finding a balance, knowing that many 9’s come at a cost. You will ensure the continued scalability, stability, and security of the Mollie platform.
Our selection procedure in a nutshell:
Because of the current circumstances, we will interview you as well as hire you completely remotely. You will start working remotely, but as soon as possible, you will continue your work at our office in the heart of Amsterdam.
