Position

You will work within one of the most advanced Agile environments in the Amsterdam Area (Spotify Agile). You will work on the mobile component of a completely new project. There is a lot of room for new ideas and technologies. Because the product will be distributed over all touchpoints you will be working closely with the developers of on both the web as mobile editions. Next to this you will also have the opportunity to work out innovative ideas for smart watches! If somewhere down the road you think it is interesting to switch Squads, that won’t be a problem. Many other technologies are used like Java8 and Angular. You have flexibility here. It is all possible after the initial focus on Mobile, with React Native. Amongst your colleagues there are very smart software engineers that love to keep up to date on the latest and greatest of developments. Some even are speakers on public meetups and known bloggers in the community. This is a magnificent playground to take your game to the next level! You will be working in a true DevOps Scrum team with two week sprints. You will be working closely to your colleagues by doing code reviews or pair programming where necessary. You will also be in close quarters with UX and UI specialists.

Your qualification

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience with professional software engineering
• You have a minimum of 2 years professional experience with OO JavaScript and SPA frameworks
• You have experience with SPA frameworks like React, Angular, Backbone, Knockout, MooTools, Meteor, Express or Ember
• You know React by the book
• You are a teamplayer and true professional in every way
• You speak up, are transparent and not shy to confront somebody
• You have experience in an Agile/Scrum/Dev/Ops team

Will be a plus

• You bring experience with React Native, Ionic or Titanium
• You experience with Native iOS or Android
