Hubs (formerly 3D Hubs) is an online platform for custom part manufacturing, providing access to a global network of manufacturing services, including CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication. Founded in Amsterdam in 2013, Hubs has since produced 7 million parts and was acquired for $280M by Protolabs in January 2021. Hubs continues to operate as an independent company aimed at further unlocking the massive distributed manufacturing opportunity together with Protolabs.

Position

If you're looking for a tech scale-up in Amsterdam there are a few to choose from, but none quite with our story. Over the past 8 years, we've built the world's largest distributed manufacturing network and have built the easiest-to-use product for ordering custom parts. We help the companies you know and love to build a better future, from humble startups to big names like Audi, HP, and NASA. Some parts we've produced are floating in space right now.

As a Product Manager, you'll report to our Head of Product in a team of 5 PMs. You'll be working with our Data Scientists and Software Engineers on a daily basis to improve the flow of sourcing custom parts online, and to ship high-quality features with the customer at the center of every decision. You'll have a decisive role in how our B2B Products will develop through shaping bets for the betting tables.

What you'll do:

• Working with the conversion team you'll be focusing on customer-facing features such as DfM, quoting, pricing, and check out
• Building Software Products that will be an indispensable tool for Designers & Engineers around the world
• Lead the development process of market study, requirement gathering, ideation, development & launch
• Work with a cross-functional team of Software Engineers, Product Designers, and Data Scientists
• Develop a clear roadmap for your team
• Coordinate and conduct customer and market research to ensure we solve our customers’ most important problems
• Ensure that your team meets deadlines, removes obstacles, and ensures the right resources to achieve your goals. Ultimately, you’ll be building a world-changing service that aligns with our broader company strategy (...come and ask us about it)

Your qualification

• 3+ years of Product Management experience in a startup/scale-up environment with traction
• Experience with hypothesis testing product development
• Show track record of problem solving in both complex operational and customer facing problems
• Prior knowledge and experience of AGILE Software Product Life Cycles
• Fluent Task Prioritisation in response to deadlines
• User centric with analytical Mindset and Leadership skills when working closely with technical teams
• Experience with marketplace dynamics
• Knowledge of pricing dynamics and how those are impacted and impact the supply chain
