Position

JavaScript Lead Engineer will be creating a shared direction through front end architecture whilst guiding the engineering team to a common goal with your technical leadership.

But... you will be doing much, much more - this isn’t a corporate. Together with your teammates and, Phil our Engineering Head who loves tech such as: GraphQl, MobX and React, you will be impacting our business and disrupting the industry by:

• Leading the holistic design of Harver's software systems; co-owning the overall architecture within the lead engineering team of 3
• Enabling the whole team to deliver the business roadmap
• Supporting and delegating design and architecture of subsystems to senior engineers
• Mentoring senior and medior engineers
• Promoting good software engineering principles
• Re-building frameworks for easier and quicker module creations
• Understanding our legacy platform and recommending big but feasible changes
• Continually innovating on our recruitment application process
• Owning the delivery software from development to production

Your qualification

• BSc or MSc in computer science or a similar subject
• You understand good engineering practices and your communication of these practices is exemplary (BDD & TDD, CI/CD, pair programming)
• You are a JavaScript guru with superb knowledge in React, Node.JS & GraphQL
• Experience in Frontend Architecture
• You have the ability to self manage and take care of changing requirements
• Hands-on approach to products
• You like to fail, succeed, and learn together, but also like to have some fun whilst doing so
• You worked on a SaaS product before, so you understand the fast turn around
• You believe in building a culture of testing (we'd love it if you've used Jest/ Mocca/ Cucumber/ Chai)

Will be a plus

• Experience within the B2B industry
• Angular experience
• AWS, Lambda and Jenkins knowledge
