As a Product Analyst you will shape the direction & growth of our hotel marketplace and, become the focal point for all related data matters in the tribe and work closely with Product owners, Engineers and Data sciencists.
You will work across our Offers engine product, which is responsible for enabling every user search with the best accommodation offers available for. At any moment, there are billions of offers available in our ecosystem, the main challenge we solve is finding the most relevant, quality and competitive offers, in efficient way, and allow the user to make a fair comparison among them.
On your daily work you will face and try to solve complex product and engineering problems such define and find the best offer for every user, build our pricing strategy, ensure price accuracy and optimise profitability.
We're looking for a data expert who understands scalable and data driven products, and who has the technical & analytical skills to make sense of the mountain of data we have. This person will be the first Analyst in the team and expected to become a key factor of making both the product and the team fully data driven.
This is a great challenge for the product analytics expert who wants to join us in our quest to build the next generation of accommodation engine!
What you will be doing

What a day in the office might look like:
You start the day by checking up on the product dashboards & AB tests to see if anything requires attention. During the daily stand-up you present your latest findings on the new pricing model, suggest improvements and raise problems or challenges you have faced. Before lunch you'll set aside time to deep dive into the data, searching for new insights and opportunities, write-up your summary and communicate it to the relevant team members. After a team lunch you'll meet with the team to brainstorm new experimentation ideas and prioritising the backlog. At the end of the day you’ll work to create a new pipeline for modelling events from the new price checker tool and build a dashboard on top of it for monitoring our price accuracy score.
