Position

SoftSQ development team is hiring a back end developer to participate in the development of a project that will redefine how traditional travel agencies operate and satisfy their customers. As a software developer you will have the opportunity to work with a team of remarkable people, who make ‘working fun!’ in a fast moving, collaborative and agile manner, full of sharing, learning and development opportunities from practices such as continuous integration, test driven development. Responsibilities:

• Work with sales and development teams to create the maximum long term value for our customers
• Implement and maintain backend services and database to ensure stability, security and scalability
• Conducting thorough functionality testing throughout backend and integration with frontend
• Working under agile development methodology and continuous integration
• Learning and sharing knowledge with teams

Your qualification

• Analytical and have a systematic thinking
• Understand and able to apply data processing concepts
• Ability to work in areas outside comfort zone, and get things done quickly
• Ability to work independently
• Fast learner, knowledge sharer and strong team player
• Ability to understand the core value of the business requirements and translate them into functional solutions for the backend
• More than 3 years experiences in web application development  

Expert at:

• SQL
• JavaScript
• Any programing language

Strong at:

• Object-orientated programming
• Asynchronous programming
• Data analysis skills

Experience of:

• Agile software development
• Continuous integration
• Load testing/performance testing
• Maintaining stable, secure and scalable applications database
• Implementing API (for 3rd party partners)
  • XML, JSON
  • Web Services, HTTP and HTTPS
  • Integrating with external partners

Will be a plus

• English skills, spoken and written
• NoSQL
