Position

Chilindo is looking for an experienced Angular 2+ developer to join their team of stellar performers. As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for assuming full ownership of a new platform, creating and refining a top-level coding-base using Angular best practices. This fast-paced and dynamic platform requires passion. You will perform code review, improvements and much-needed updates. Your role will require you to implement an exciting and streamlined user experience in the form of a JavaScript based WebApplication on top of our existing .NET API.

To ensure success as an Angular Developer, you should have extensive knowledge of theoretical software engineering, be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and have excellent project management skills. Ultimately, a top-class Angular Developer can design and build a streamlined application to company specifications that perfectly meet the needs of the user.

Angular Developer Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing user interfaces using Angular 2+ best practices 
• Adapting interface for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies
• Writing JavaScript, CSS, and HTML 
• Developing product analysis tasks
• Making complex technical and design decisions for Angular projects 
• Developing application codes and unit tests in Angular, JavaScript Technologies, and RESTful Web Services
• Conducting performance tests 
• Consulting with the design team 
• Ensuring high performance of applications and providing support to Chilindo

Your qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 3-4 years work experience as an Angular 2+ Developer 
• Proficient in CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code
• Experience using JavaScript building tools like VS-Code, Gulp, Grunt, etc.
• Knowledge of JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks including Angular 2+ 
• Excellent project management skills, able to assume ownership of the platform
• Proven experience implementing front-end and back-end JavaScript applications
• Excellent communication skills in an English working environment
• Critical thinker and good problem-solver
