Arrowhead Game Studios is located in Stockholm, Sweden and we are a game developer focusing on creating immersive games for Console and PC. We have a team of ambitious, friendly and fun-loving developers challenging the game industry, while aiming to deliver an entertaining and high quality gaming experience. We’re most known for our co-op games and are the developers behind Magicka, The Showdown Effect, Gauntlet and Helldivers.
Position
Although the main focus in this position is UX, you also create flows, layouts and visuals from a UI perspective for various systems and features. You create both the 2d concept as well as the high class finished art assets, ready for final implementation. You know UX - it’s all about creating that amazing experience for the players!
Your contribution
Your main tasks and responsibilities as a UX Designer are:
- Co-create intuitive and engaging ways of interaction by improving the User Experience and optimization of the User Interaction
- Design flow, layout and visuals of the UI for various systems and features with the UX in focus
- Ensure a cohesive visual and functional consistency across the various UI systems
- Continuously improve design implementations while working in a Live Service Environment
Your qualification
We’re looking for a UX Designer with the following experience and background:
- Around 3 to 4 years of experience as a UI Designer or UX Designer within the game development industry (or similar industry)
- Experience with creating concepts, 2D assets and the process of developing the concepts to implementation ready art assets
- Experience working on a Live Service project is desirable
- If you have already shipped a (AAA) title that would be great!
- Experience with segmentation, User Testing and research would be valued
Additional details
Scope: Full-time: 40 hours per week. We offer a permanent position and for the right candidate we offer relocation aid.
Location: Stockholm, however working remotely can be discussed for the right candidate.
