Position

As a Senior Software Engineer - Architecture, you will:

• Join our Platform Engineering team and a world-class team of Quantum experts with an extensive track record in both academia and industry

• Work with Fortune 500 customers from government and private sectors

• Collaborate with the founding team in a fast-paced startup environment and tackle high-value open problems from the industry

• Take on technical leadership and work together with Software and DevOps engineers as well as ML and Quantum experts to productionize Multiverse’s core technologies

• Provide technical standards, coding guidelines and design patterns to our Tech team

• Analyze architecture tradeoff and be the driving force to implement new technologies and architectures

Your qualification

• Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, a related technical field, or relevant industry experience

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably with a focus on machine learning, data science, or operations research applications

• Expert knowledge of Python and preferably other languages such as Julia and C/C++

• Familiarity with documenting and diagramming complex architectures

• Familiar with different authentication protocols

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience in designing and developing distributed data-intensive systems on the cloud, e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure

• Experience in coaching and sharing knowledge with different teams about software architectural best practices

• Ability to work with experts from different professional backgrounds, both in-person and through online resources

Will be a plus

• Experience in leading teams

• Experience with frontend development

• Familiarity with accelerators (GPU, FPGA, TPU, Analog Co-processors, etc.)

• Experience with algorithm development and optimization, designing scalable and robust class structures
