Position

As a Sr DevOps Engineer, you will

• Oversee and manage the DevOps practices and processes within the organization
• Develop and implement DevOps strategies for the organization
• Mentor and lead a team of DevOps engineers to deliver solutions
• Work with development and operations teams to automate software delivery processes
• Identify and implement tools and processes to improve software development and delivery
• Actively seek solutions to customer needs, communicate trends to leadership, and suggest innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, making recommendations for enhancements or modifications as needed
• Help deploy our software stack to Fortune 500 clients’ servers
• Participate in the design of Multiverse’s toolbox interface
• Join a world-class team of Quantum experts with an extensive track record in both academia and industry
• Collaborate with the founding team in a fast-paced startup environment

Your qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; alternatively, significant work experience as a Software Engineer
• 10+ years of experience working as DevOps engineer
• Proven experience as Cloud Solutions Architect. AWS certifications are desirable
• Advanced level of expertise in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters as well as experience deploying applications to Kubernetes using Helm charts. CKA, CKAD, and CKS certifications are desirable
• Competency with service meshes, preferably Istio Gateway
• DevSecOps expertise with proven experience with SAST, DAST, SIEM, penetration testing, implementing cybersecurity controls and promoting security best practices
• Experience deploying SaaS solutions
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages (Bash, Python, Go, etc).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of infrastructure and security Issues
• Good communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservice deployment and monitoring
• Experience working with different public cloud providers and hybrid environments
• Database experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other
• Experience designing and deploying Infrastructure to support machine learning and data analytics solutions
• Experience creating and administering release management processes and integration with source control management and best practices
• Experience in leading teams
