Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AI Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on applying quantum technologies to Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, computer vision, and data science solutions. In this role you will have the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge quantum and AI technologies to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for enterprise AI applications. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, working closely with a dynamic team of managers and engineers to deliver robust AI solutions to our external customers, and integrating these solutions into our products. This role is ideal for a domain expert who is passionate about identifying AI-driven opportunities and leading the development of advanced solutions across various applications using different technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work on the design, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art advanced RAG systems based on quantum technologies to solve challenging use cases in various applications and domains
• Act as a domain expert in the field of Generative AI applications, understanding domain-specific problems and identifying opportunities for quantum AI-driven innovation
• Conduct rigorous evaluations and benchmarks of AI system performance, identifying areas for improvement, optimizing the system for enhanced accuracy, robustness, and efficiency
• Use your expertise to assess the strengths and weaknesses of AI systems, propose enhancements, and develop novel solutions to improve performance and efficiency
• Demonstrate strong expertise as a data scientist, especially in dealing with unstructured data in NLP contexts, extracting data from various databases and sources, processing the data to support AI model development and optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into customer workflows
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the development processes, experiments, evaluations, and results
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and emerging trends in Generative AI, LLMs and data science, and recommend new tools and technologies as appropriate

Your qualification

• Master's or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields
• 3+ years of experience as a data scientist, with a proven ability to extract data from databases and various sources effectively, and demonstrated proficiency in data cleaning, transformation, and analysis to support AI model development and optimization
• 2+ years of experience in NLP, focusing on processing and parsing unstructured text data
• 1+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying advanced RAG systems for enterprise AI applications in an industrial environment, using libraries such as LlamaIndex and integrating both open-source and private LLM models
• Excellent programming skills in Python and experience with relevant libraries (LlamaIndex, PyTorch, etc.)

• Experience with cloud platforms (ideally AWS), containerization technologies (Docker) and with deploying AI solutions in a cloud environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas effectively
• A track record of research publications in AI and machine learning is a plus
