Position

As an Engineering manager (Product) you will

• Lead and motivate a diverse technical team, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven environment.

• Provide clear direction, set measurable objectives, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

• Act as both a people manager and a technical partner — offering guidance, removing blockers, and stepping in hands-on when needed.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to align team priorities with organizational goals.

• Develop and implement efficient workflows, best practices, and processes that enable teams to work productively and at scale.

• Monitor project and team performance, taking proactive measures to maintain quality and momentum.

• Communicate transparently with senior leadership and other teams, providing updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.

• Support the professional growth of team members through mentorship, feedback, and career development planning.

• Participate in cross-team initiatives and knowledge-sharing to strengthen Multiverse’s overall technical excellence.

Your qualification

• Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Physics, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, software architecture, data science, IT and/or other relevant engineering domains.

• 1+ year of successful management experience in leading and managing engineering teams in a technology-driven company.

• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, with the ability to provide sound technical guidance.

• Demonstrated success improving team workflows, enabling cross-team collaboration, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

• Proficiency with widely used tools and workflows (e.g., Python, Git/GitHub/GitLab, Docker, CI/CD).

• Familiarity with emerging technologies in AI/ML and their practical applications.

• Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and best practices.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills with a strong eye for detail.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration and maintain strong relationships. Perfect command of English.

Will be a plus

• PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.

• Prior experience working in an inner-source or open-source software development model.

• Experience facilitating knowledge-sharing and onboarding for technical contributions.

• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, or computer vision.

• Experience designing and running benchmarking pipelines for LLMs or other AI models, including metrics for quality, efficiency, and performance.

• Experience with model lifecycle management, including registries, version control, metadata standards, and packaging models for deployment or external delivery.

• Experience leading teams responsible for data governance, analytics pipelines, and BI/observability tools to support decision-making across the board.
