Position

We’re looking for a full stack engineer to join our Engineering org and work side-by-side with Marketing—helping them to build, maintain and innovate upon our public-facing web properties.

“The public sites (homepage, blog and Help Center) are critical assets for Typeform. These sites need to engage and capture new users and drive growth, as well as support existing users on their journey with Typeform, making sure they get the most out of our product. They have a measurable impact on Typeform’s success and working on these sites, you learn that every detail matters and a small change sometimes makes a big difference.”

Here’s what you’ll do:

• You’ll work at our Barcelona HQ with our Marketing team to deliver new system functionality to our WordPress sites—and build web pages that really stand out
• You’ll get to work on innovative, industry-leading content (we’ve already won one award, help us win another one!)
• You’ll contribute to the continual development and improvement of our public web properties through improved performance and infrastructure, experiment-driven optimisations and brand new initiatives we haven’t even thought of yet 
• Your frontend skills and attention to detail will be used to create beautiful frontend implementations of our designers’ vision

Your qualification

• You’re skilled with WordPress, including custom theming and plugin development
• You have good PHP knowledge with additional understanding of OOP
• You’re comfortable with our frontend tooling suite: gulp, webpack, and SASS
• You have a strong knowledge of JS (ES5 & ES6), and CSS3 including how to apply it to animations and transitions
• You have a keen eye for high quality design and visual nuances
• You speak the Queen’s English (just kidding—any accent will do)

Will be a plus

• You’ve implemented and managed translations with WPML
• You have some knowledge of ReactJS or are keen to learn
• You have an interest in JAMstack and server-side rendered applications
• You have experience with Composer
