The Platform and Automation Services team provides Infrastructure- and middleware automation solutions for product- and platform teams and also accounts for one of our public cloud platforms. As a Cloud Architect / Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions to meet the organization’s business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop architecture designs, and oversee the deployment and optimization of cloud-based systems.
You'll be
- Working in an agile and self-driven team; helping to grow and expand our culture that combines a high-performance mindset with playfulness and a strong team-bond
- Designing, implementing, and continuously improving our infrastructure solutions in the cloud
- Assessing new cloud services and staying ahead of trends and hype
- Contributing to our automation framework and CI/CD processes for infrastructure- and cloud services to streamline deployment, configuration, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with our policies and regulations
- Providing support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve production incidents and outages
- Supporting capacity-planning and performance optimization activities to ensure resilience at scale
- Contributing to the development of best practices, standards, and documentation for SRE processes and procedures
- Spreading the buzz, sharing your knowledge, and getting colleagues hooked on public cloud
Your qualification
- Relevant education and training to design and operate IT systems at scale
- Proven experience as an IT architect, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role in cloud-based environments
- A strong desire to change the status quo and to expand your skills and knowledge in the realm of public cloud for financial services
- Experience cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong scripting and automation skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, bash, HCL (Terraform), and YAML
- Familiar with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, or Splunk
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex systems and troubleshoot issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills - English and/or German, any other CEE language is an advantage, and the ability to work in a dynamic and cross-functional team environment

- A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - we are obliged by law to quote the minimum wage of EUR 3 200,- gross per month for this full-time position.
