Position
BandLab is looking for a QA Engineer with experience working on social and/or audio-video mobile products. Our perfect QA candidate is passionate about creating an excellent mobile experiences and loves to hunt down bugs. If you feel that we just described you and you’re ready for challenges and future grows you will fit perfectly within our team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute performance, usability, and compatibility testing for mobile apps
- Run pre-release testing and participate in release processes
- Drive bug prioritization and work cross-functionally with Engineering and Design
- Work closely with Customer Support and other internal teams to document bugs
- Provide technical support to internal team members
- Host and manage internal company test sessions and dogfooding
Your qualification
- Hands-on experience testing mobile (iOS or Android) and web applications
- Ability to isolate defects effectively, as well as provide specific conditions for reproducibility
- Experience with Android, iOS debug tools including ability to work with logs
- A good understanding of software, specifically mobile product lifecycles
- A keen attention to detail and extreme desire to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for mobile, especially applications on phones and tablets
