Position

You will lead tactical day to day challenges and drive strategic planning. Areas of focus will cover test strategy, software testing, tools, environments, data sets, security, performance, automation, as well as release processes, application quality index and reporting. Will also be involved in assisting the LOB in establishing and maintaining best practices for SDLC in place including involvement in processes like, test scope, architecture & design, CI/CD, monitoring, code reviews, cross platform integration and regressions, root cause analysis and defect resolution.

KernelCare, CloudLinux’s fastest-growing product, provides automated kernel security updates without reboots for the most popular Linux distributions. As our Test Delivery Manager you will:

• Oversee the strategy, be visionary, tell us where to go and how to go
• Take full ownership for quality, be a real problem solver and make everything you can to ensure that we deliver quality products
• Work alongside all the stakeholders to plan and manage your team's delivery, ensuring alignment with the wider company goals and OKR’s.
• Hands-on: Have a clear grasp of the detailed logic of a test architecture, actually participate in the test execution, and have an in-depth grasp of the overall project process specifications, testing techniques, and related platforms and tools, and preach new technology
• Concentrate on Quality system construction: keenly identify TOP quality risks and efficiency bottlenecks, research effective solutions and promote the implementation

Your qualification

• Five years or more of overall work experience with Software Testing in B2B, Cloud Computing and high load complicated Linux based environments
• Solid technical background in Linux, Python, CI/CD pipelines, networking
• Proven experience in leading and managing end to end QA/SDET engagements
• Proven track record of driving change and managing high performing product and technology teams in multinational, distributed and complex Linux based matrix environments.
• Remain technical and knowledgeable in changing and evolving technology and trends in the industry and where applicable, introduce those new technologies and trends into the organization.
• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Able to represent the best interest of the Quality goals and objectives and handle potential conflict situations where disagreements exist.
• Experience in different environments including one or more of the following client server, Services Oriented Architecture, Web based, Mainframe based and three tier architectures
• Bachelor’s Degree. Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to communicate with others effectively through written communication methods. Must be able to communicate (talking, hearing, etc.) with others effectively through oral communication methods.
