Lead Game Designer

About Ten Square Games

Ten Square Games (TSG, TEN) is a Polish mobile game developer, with headquarters in Wrocław and an additional studio in Warsaw.

Position

• Establish the design principles and methodologies that we will use to make our games;
• Combine data awareness with user intuition to go beyond the KPI's in making great games;
• Mentor and develop the skills and careers of a team of designers;
• Get the design vision for the game across to the team and make sure everybody knows it;
• Work with different departments to ensure alignment and visibility;
• Create design specs and documentation that clearly communicates the end state.

Your qualification

• At least 8 years of commercial experience as a Game Designer, including 2 years in a Senior/Lead role;
• Good analytical skills;
• Understanding of player motivations and behaviors, and how we as game makers can affect them;
• Knowledge of free to play/mobile games/card games industry & KPI’s;
• Ability to define tools to support the game design process;
• Version control system knowledge (Sourcetree);
• Google Sheets/Excel knowledge (basic scripts are nice to have);
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
• Independence and self-discipline;
• Passion for games and a creative, open mind.
