The Foundry Platform delivered to Reliability, Strategy and Enablement is currently growing at an exponential pace. In order to accelerate the growth rate, the Automation needs to be introduced in Platform Engineering IT area. The aim is to consolidate support for multiple separate components from various dashboards – into one consolidated tool. Manual and repetitive tasks will be automated as much as possible.

You will have:

• Opportunity to create & implement End to Frameworks and Application Code.
• Opportunity to work with multiple programming languages including Python, Java, C++, HTML, JavaScript
• Opportunity to build on investment banking knowledge Market & Credit Risk.
• Opportunity to work on the latest Big Data Technology stacks using On-Prem and Cloud hosted platforms

You will be:

• Working on the automation provided towards one of the largest platform in Risk IT area
• Working among people with solid technical background and excellent analytical thinking skills
• Moreover you will own End to End Automations and provide regular status reporting to key partners including progress, risks, issues and mitigation steps

Your qualification

• Proficiency in Python including Advanced Topics and a strong Understanding of Memory aspects of a python code and the way data is handled between modules
• Cloudera expert with a solid understanding of Cloudera Manager and what is important in ensuring stability
• Devops specialist with a proven record of delivering innovative solutions to meet a particular need
• Should have a very good understanding of OOPs and Design Patterns.
• Experience in commonly used External Python Libraries (Pandas, Numpy, requests, Workbooks, XML/JSON, ZMQ for client server models)
• Prior experience in writing Data Base Codes using any of the available Database.(Polling, Batches, Connections, Pools)
• Detailed knowledge in creating deployable python packages using setup tools and python code compilations
• Should be able to write cross platform Python Code while maintaining strong coding conventions.
• Flexible in working with HTML(or any other frontend tool) in conjunction with python.
• Solid understanding of working with SQL
• Working knowledge of setting up Graphana dashboards
• Exposure or knowledge of Osmosys, APIGee/Cloudera, Moogsoft
• Exposure of CI/CD Pipeline for automated deployment, monitoring and reporting.
• Experience in REST API
• Experience in using multi-threading to pull external data
• IT Degree desirable
• Hardworking with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
