About IAME
IAME is a tech company engaged in the development of a decentralised identification system for Cryptocurrencies. With the IAME Identification Network you can identify yourself without disclosing sensititive information to transactional counter parties.
The rationale behind our development target is that mass adoption mass integration cannot gain traction if archaic identification methodologies are applied to Blockchain technology. And regulated institutions cannot deal with Cryptocurrencies if they do not have the appropriate tools to identify ownership and provenance of Cryptocurrencies.
Position
IAME is looking for an experienced Java Enterprise Developer to join their Information Technology team. You will help develop and design technology solutions that are scalable, relevant, and crucial to company’s success. Your main focus is Java/Java EE development. Must-haves are a desire to continue to grow as a developer, a solid skill set, and a team-player mentality.
Responsibilities
- Take part in the design and implementation of essential applications
- Demonstrate expertise and add irreplaceable input throughout the development lifecycle
- Participate in designing and implementation of scalable, lasting technology solutions
- Review current systems and suggest updates as needed
- Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders
- Test and debug new applications and updates
- Resolve reported issues and reply to queries on time
- Develop and utilize technical change documentation
- Strive to deploy all products and updates on time
- Assist in improving code quality by implementing recommended best practices
- Remain up to date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments
- Maintain a high standard of work quality and encourage others to do the same
- Help junior team members grow and develop their skills
- Identify potential challenges and bottlenecks in order to address them proactively
Your qualification
- 4+ years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required (master’s degree is a plus)
- Java certification preferred
- Experience using Docker/Spring boots is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Java and J2EE technologies
- Significant experience working with SQL
- Familiarity with JIRA is a plus
- Familiarity using continuous integration
- Familiarity using GIT
- Experience with database usage and management
- Knowledge of Java EE server platforms such as JBoss AS/Wildfly
- Java frameworks for dependency injection, O/R mapping and access control (Spring, EJB3, Hibernate)
- Java web technologies such as JSF and PrimeFaces
- Client-Side JavaScript UI technologies such as React is a plus
- Hands-on experience designing, architecting, consuming, developing and debugging ReST Web Services and APIs
