Position

As a Front-End Developer at the Kindred Malta office you will be working with people from diverse backgrounds, who are highly passionate about what they do. We believe in feature enhancement of our brands through continuous improvement, releasing small and often and automating everything that takes time away from development. We develop JavaScript-driven mobile-first Single Page applications using frameworks like React and Angular. Our focus is on giving our customers the best possible experience where performance is key.

What will you be doing

As part of the the development group in Malta, your role as Senior Frontend Developer, will be to contribute in delivering business-value across the various brands within the organisation’s portfolio.

• Front-end development of existing and new brands in the portfolio
• Working closely with Product Owner, Agile Lead and team members to collaborate and influence new development
• Ensuring performance and quality of all deliveries across different platforms
• Sharing knowledge and best practices within the organization
• Working in a multicultural environment where teamwork is key

Your qualification

• Be a good Communicator and have good Interpersonal skills
• Core Javascript skills
• Responsive design (with and without css frameworks)
• Experience with Single Page Apps and front-end frameworks (Angular, React/Redux, etc)
• HTML5, CSS3 (flexbox, animation, etc)
• Experience using Unit Testing and Mocking frameworks
• Experience with modern JS tools (babel, npm, webpack, node, etc)
• Previous experience with Restful APIs, Web services
• Have good Analytical Skills
