Position
S3I’s client in Latvia is a Global company that focuses on “Digital Transformation Solutions” that supports innovative business models. The company creates future-proof business infrastructures that help make customers more agile and competitive, enable to deliver new standards of service. Company has over 3,000 people at more than 25 sites throughout the world: Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Malaysia, USA, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and operating complex Cloud projects, solutions, and products in a multi-cloud environment (private cloud, GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Developing the transformation and automation of classic infrastructure operations topics (OS, backup, networking, etc.)
- Consulting our customers on (Multi-) Cloud architectures and the intensive cooperation with the departments and the development, both internally and remotely with the customer
- Advanced knowledge, further development, and optimization of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
- Supporting the application transformation through the use of cloud-native architectures
- Maintaining trouble-free operation and supporting the troubleshooting by participating in the on-call duty rotation with your team members
Your qualification
- 2+ years of professional experience in Cloud Solutions and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of one or more private and/or public cloud platforms (VMware Cloud Director, OpenStack, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in concepts such as Infrastructure as Code and GitOps
- Knowledge of several tools of the established IaC tool landscape (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Packer, Ansible, etc.)
- Strong spoken and written English
