Position

The testing team is part of the core engineering group at Mujin and is primarily responsible for creating software simulations and testing infrastructure. The team is currently actively looking for an experienced engineer to provide a reliable infrastructure to run the development CI/CD pipelines as well as full fledged integration and regression test suites for the robotics software before deploying to the real robots.

Docker & K8S proficiency is absolutely required.

Responsibilities

• Linux System Administration
• Planning, Requirements gathering and Deployment of new services
• Service Life Service Management (Deploy, Maintain, Backup, Recovery, Scale, and Security Hardening)
• Git and CI/CD Pipeline Systems Administration

Your qualification

• 3+ years Linux Administration
• Experience deploying and scaling Micro Services (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) on cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google)
• Experience establishing a CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Teamcity, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Circle CI, etc..
• Strong conceptual knowledge of virtualization (e.g. kvm, vmware) and storage (e.g. s3, ceph, gluster) technologies
• Experience with administrating git repos (Security Control, Access groups, maintenance and patching, corrupt repo recovery)
• Primarily an English speaking team (English: Good business level, Japanese: Not required, but welcome)

Will be a plus

• Interest in robotics, programming and/or programming of robots
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Go, Rust, etc)
• Experience with implementing, managing and manipulating databases (e.g. Postgres, MySQL)
• Proficient in deploying services using ‘infrastructure as code’ (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef)
• Experience in managing Linux operating systems in enterprise environments
• Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems and centralized logging
• Actively practice "Defense in depth" when managing services
