Position

We’re currently looking for backend engineers who are passionate about backend technologies to join our fast-paced growing team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain innovative features based on business needs
• Design scalable and fault-tolerant architecture in a distributed cloud deployment
• Ensure high quality deliverables through CI/CD pipelines, tests, and documentation
• Collaborate with Design, Product Management and Customer Success teams to continuously improve the product
• Support the team by actively participating in discussions and review others’ code

Your qualification

Minimum qualifications:

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Knowledge building scalable web applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Team development experience with tools such as version control
• Understand the importance of clean code and software documentation
• Business level English (Japanese is NOT required)
• Last but not least, fit with open source and hacker culture

Nice to have:

• Degree in Computer Science or other related technical fields
• Development experience in Python / Golang / DevOps
• Familiarity with containers, deployment systems, CI/CD, and monitoring tools
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems
• Deep experience with AWS
• Knowledge of security concepts and technologies
• Knowledge of Unix-like environment
• Team leadership experience
